Microsoft launched the public beta of Microsoft Office 2010. It features upgraded versions of Word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace, and Communicator. If you would like to have it, you can download from the site of Microsoft Office.
It has a ribbon interface, moreover it has almost the same menu as Office 2003, so if you used to it, so it is time to switch to Office 2010. But it will be a bit weird to have a ribbon interface, but later it will be hard for you to go back. The ribbon interface operates more effectively, one can find it in Office 2007, but only several applications have it.
Also Office 2010 has a backstage view, the buttons are different, moreover, they look like ribbon tabs at the top. At the backstage interface one can find a list of tasks in a panel that is situated on the left side, but options with the help of which it is possible to accomplish various tasks are displayed on the most of the screen.

Excel 2010 includes an additional feature known as Sparklines, it helps dispose a mini-graph or trend line in a single cell. It is possible to add a visual element in a quickly way.
Outlook 2010 has Outlook Social Connector, due to it one can see emails, status updates, shared files and photos. There will be information about your mutual friends.
