Hewlett-Packard's EliteBook business laptops will come with up to three USB 3.0 ports to connect to external devices.
Hewlett-Packard on Wednesday said it has added USB 3.0 ports to its latest laptops that could boost data transfers between computers and devices such as storage drives and digital cameras.
HP will add up to three USB 3.0 ports in EliteBook business laptops to connect to external devices and peripherals. The laptops include EliteBook 8540p and EliteBook 8540w workstation laptops, which are expected to be shown at the International Consumer Electronics Show to be held in Las Vegas between Jan. 7 and 10.



On Friday Hewlett Packard released its new series of All-in-One (AIO) PCs. They are based on touch technology and are available for Rs59,990.
Microsoft has officially released a tool, called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (WUDT), which allows the creation of a bootable USB installer for its Windows 7 OS. USB installer provides the convenience for installation of the Windows 7 on netbooks, which eliminates the need to hook up an external DVD drive.
