In February LG released its new known as GD900 Crystal. It amazed the whole world with the following statement: ‘a prototype handset with a transparent keypad!’
At present the phone appeared in India. The GD900 Crystal has 13.5-mm-thin frame, moreover, the transparent touch-sensitive keypad is considered to be unique and magnificent.
It features a scratch-resistant design that was made of tempered glass and strengthened with a band of liquid metal. Its keypad is very sensitive and it is like a laptop’s trackpad that recognizes handwriting and is responsible for multi-touch commands, it also has a new way of navigation known as Gesture Command.
Due to Gesture Command, it is possible to draw one of 12 customisable symbols on the keypad
The phone is equipped with the 8-megapixel camera that comes with autofocus and LED flash, it is able to record video at 720×480 pixels resolution. The 3-inch capacitive touchscreen enables a user to auto-rotate the screen when making pictures, moreover, it has a proximity sensor that switches off the camera when talking on the phone.
All songs can be kept in the ample room that has 1.5GB of internal memory, it is also offered with a microSD memory card slot to increase up to 32GB. It includes all the connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth, etc.
It is possible to talk over the phone up to 6 hours and its standby time is up to 300 hours. But what is more surprising about the phone is its price which is considered to be comparatively low, i.e. Rs. 26,000.
