Aricent is a communications software company, introduced its specific services for the Android platform. The aim of the services is to give a helping hand to its customers to evolve applications based on the mobile operating system.
According to Sajal Gupta vice-president for mobile multimedia and value added services, the company will offer recommendations as well as services to OEMs, chipset vendors and operators for hastening the development cycle, ameliorate performance and also increase the whole consumer experience of mobile devices that are based on Android.
Being a mobile operating system Android was evolved by Google at first and then by the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). OHA is an association of 50 hardware, software and telecom companies.
It is difficult to say about its demand as such aspects as price and the way the app is developed will influence on popularity of the device. It is expected that Android will be able to help diminish cost
