How often do you regret after sending a mail? Or realise that you have left someone important out from an email? Worry not. Google's email service Gmail has a few tools that help you avoid such blunders.
Here's looking into some of the Gmail's goof-preventing features.
Google has an Undo Send, a Gmail Labs feature that prevents the transmission of an email message for five seconds, to allow email authors time to change their minds.
All that a user needs to do is turn on the Undo Send in Settings, and he will see a new 'Undo' link on every sent mail confirmation. Google user experience designer Michael Leggett wrote in a blog post, "Click 'Undo,' and Google will grab the message before it's sent and take you right back to compose.
Leggett, however, warns that Undo Send won't recall a message that has already been sent, it simply holds messages for five seconds to allow time for second thoughts.
